Yes, we have anything you want to alert the schools.  There was a terrible case there where a school removed regular soda pop and only served diet pop.  One young man they thought was on crystal meth was actually using aspartame pop.  Oh, what he went through.  It was the Janitor who took him to the headmaster and said, "its the aspartame".  The police had actually taken him in.  Anyway, contact Felicity Mawson, Mission Possible UK and she will help you,  and she use to be a teacher. 

What's more we now found the studies on aspartame by the original manufacturer,  The FDA made a deal with the manufacturer to never allow the public to see them and no pregnancy warning was put on the product.  It took me 8 years to find them, the teratology studies, which showed neural tube defects - autism,  spina bifida and cleft palate for starters.  Now Dr. Walton is doing a birth defect study and anyone whether they used aspartame who gave birth after 1984 should complete the form on, on a banner.  It's short, will take only 5 minutes to complete.  You should get the 1000 page medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, and drop it on the headmasters desk.  Ask him which diseases its okay for the children to have, ADD, ADHD, neurological and even psychiatric and behavioral because of the depletion of the serotonin.

Safe Sweetener:  Just Like Sugar, Can be found in places like Whole Foods. Special warning for diabetics:  Aspartame can precipitate diabetes, simulates and aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic nerve, causes diabetics to go into convulsions, and even interacts with insulin.  The free methyl alcohol causes diabetics to lose limbs.  Jeanette Soto, Mission Possible Brookville, Florida who wrote “Blinded Sight” when her husband lost his sight from aspartame was unable to get her father-in-law, diabetic off aspartame because of the addiction.  The free methyl alcohol is classified as a narcotic.  It causes chronic methanol poisoning which affects the dopamine system of the brain and causes the addiction.  When Jeanette’s father-in-law, Santiago Echiverria died it had to be a closed casket, the formaldehyde from the free methyl alcohol was oozing out of his skin.  The American Diabetes Assn was sued  in 2004 for racketeering for pushing aspartame on diabetics, but because of their power got out of it. 

Today people are dying of the methanol poisoning. Dr. James Bowen explains:
"Only after longer aspartame usage does liver damage cause blood methanol levels to measurably rise because the liver mitochondria are so damaged that the liver no longer quickly processes either methyl or ethyl (drink) alcohol. Then the acute methanol poisoning is directly measurable from lab results, as the blood methanol level elevates.  This entire sequence or "toxic axis" begins with your very first dose of aspartame. Both acute and chronic poisonings from this methanol toxic axis, and other additive and synergistic aspartame poisonings, steadily accumulate in the aspartame consumer.”  We continue to get reports of people dying of methanol poisoning.  Charles Fleming died and his wife, a Sunday School teacher, remains in a prison in Virginia.  The detective on the  case said, “Diane is innocent but because I was promoted I could not stop the indictment.”  Be warned no diabetic should ever consume wood alcohol. The FDA did no NOAEL on methanol.  Without it you cannot set an ADI, allowable daily intake.  It’s 44% too high.

Studies have shown that sucralose can:

Ajinomoto  announced a new name for aspartame called AminoSweet.  Be warned.  It goes under many names; NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, Naturataste, Canderel, Benevia, E951, etc.  Because the patent has expired it can be used in anything.  You must read labels.  Many times it’s hidden in artificial and natural flavors.  Remember that aspartame has a synergistic and additive effect with MSG.  Stuart Pape of the National Yogurt Assn has petitioned the FDA to allow aspartame unlabeled in yogurt and dairy products.  The FDA has ignored my FOIA request asking if they allowed this, which is illegal.

Be warned that the FDA has been petitioned for the approval of another aspartame product, Advantame, already approved in Australia and by the European Food Safety Authority.  Also, the dairy people have petitioned the FDA to allow less labeling in chocolate milk and 17 other dairy products.  Protect your children!  FDA must by law have a PKU warning for phenylketonurics who can’t metabolize phenylalanine.  Dr. James Bowen says that aspartame actually causes Phenylketonuria!

Dear Ms. Oshita:

In reading available information, I assume you want mostly how aspartame relates to cancer.  Indeed it is a carcinogen, proven so by many scientific studies.  Aspartame also triggers many other serious diseases, which fill the 1,000+ page medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, by H. J. Roberts, M.D.

When FDA Commissioner Dr. Von Eschenbach took office I wrote him about aspartame and cancer, mainly due to his professed intention to save cancer victims; so much of this has already been done. Later 12 toxicologists asked the FDA to ban aspartame because of the long term Ramazzini studies on large rat populations showing aspartame is “a multipotential carcinogen”.

Now I'll go back to the beginning.

Aspartame was not approved by science but thru the political chicanery of Don Rumsfeld.  D.C. Attorney James Turner, explains how Rumsfeld did it in the documentary Sweet Misery, a Poisoned World. Here’s a clip from the movie so you can hear what he said:

Searle’s problem was they couldn’t get studies to show safety.  For example, in  the Bressler Report: you read where they would excise brain tumors from the rats, put them back in the study and after they died resurrected them back on paper. They even filtered out neoplasms to hide them from the FDA.  Repeatedly Searle was caught in this criminal activity. 

On January 10, 1977 in a 33 page letter, FDA Chief Counsel Richard Merrill recommended to the Justice Department Attorney Sam Skinner that a grand jury investigate Searle for "apparent violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, 21 USC 331 (e), and the False Reports to the Government Act, 18 U.S.C. 1001, for "their willful and knowing failure to make reports to the Food and Drug Administration required by the Act, 21 U.S.C 355 (i) and making false statements in reports of animal studies conducted to establish the safety of aspartame." The FDA called special attention to studies investigating the effect of NutraSweet on monkeys and hamsters.

Searle was caught dead to rights, so they hired Skinner, made him a deal he couldn’t refuse. So the former Justice Department prosecutor became a defender.  Next at bat  - U. S. Prosecutor William Conlon, promptly switched sides too. By then the statute of limitations had expired. Searle knew they couldn't win the case so they simply hired the prosecutors.  The Godfather hired the District Attorneys!

Nevertheless the FDA had no intention of approving aspartame.  The fraud was so great that Dr. John Olney (who with James Turner fought against approval of aspartame) told Searle to do studies in his lab so he could see that they were done honestly, with supervision.  Dr. Olney believed the FDA wouldn’t approve aspartame because the studies showed it produced brain damaged.  What he didn’t anticipate is that Searle didn’t submit these findings to the FDA.

January 30, 1980 the Public Board of Inquiry revoked Searle’s petition for approval declaring that they had "not been presented with proof of reasonable certainty that aspartame is safe for use as a food additive."   Searle had spent $17 million on an aspartame factory and had no intention of giving up, poison or no.  At this point they hired Donald Rumsfeld who said he would call in his markers and get it approved anyway. What were those markers?  President Reagan had told Rumsfeld he would be nominated for vice president, but instead selected Bush number 1.

The day after Reagan took office he appointed Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes as the new FDA Commissioner, to over-rule the Board of Inquiry.  Reagan knew it would take 30 days to get Hayes to the FDA, so he wrote an Executive Order making the FDA powerless to do anything about aspartame.  At 3 AM that night a member of Reagan’s staff called the FDA Commissioner Jere Goyan and fired him.  Here is a letter from his wife who was there when the terminating call came in:

Once aspartame was on the market there was outrage as consumers were diagnosed with seizures, multiple sclerosis and blindness from the free methyl alcohol releases.  Senator Orrin Hatch, on Monsanto’s payroll, obstructed hearings on aspartame for years, but there were 3 Congressional hearings from 1985 to l987.  Hatch was on Monsanto’s payroll, and kept the bill in committee that would put a moratorium on aspartame until NIH completed independent studies on the flood of aspartame problems they were seeing: seizures, blindness, headaches, sexual dysfunction, behavioral problems, especially in children, drug interactions and birth defects.

About that time Dr. James Bowen wrote FDA that “aspartame is mass poisoning of the American public and 70 countries” - today over 100. The good doctor wrote: "For this reason, I am opposed to labeling aspartame content of food and drinks.  To do so would imply that the government is taking some sort of responsible action....when the only responsible action would be to immediately take aspartame off the market, fully disclose its toxicities, offer full compensation to the injured, public and criminally prosecute anyone who participated in the fraudulent placement of aspartame on the marketplace."

How was the new FDA Commissioner,  Arthur Hayes,   rewarded for over-ruling the Board of Inquiry?  He was hired as a consultant to NutraSweet’s PR Agency on a 10-year contract at $1,000.00 a day, and nobody’s heard a peep from him since, he got lockjaw.  Who ever heard of a PR guy who won’t talk?

Now they began funding professional organizations, ladies-of-the-evening like the American Diabetes Assn, American Dietetic Assn and numerous others to propagandize the public with touting asparshame. Of course they also threatened scientists whose studies identified the toxicity of this poison. In the UPI Investigation Dr. Wurtman was threatened if he did studies on aspartame and seizures he would lose his funding. He capitulated. Read this report on the 8 month investigation by United Press International: Dr. Wurtman, too, got a terrible case of aspartame lockjaw, but MIT still gets the money.

ILSI, the International Life Sciences Institute, was born in 1978 as a “research” front for our favorite poisoners.  Its board members are from Coke, Pepsi, Searle, Monsanto and the rest of the usual suspects. If a university won't play their way the get no pay, that is to say, funding for fake “research”.

Over the years many independent studies have been done.  The manufacturers say 200 studies that aspartame is safe as rain.  Some of those were the ones FDA found fraudulent and sought prosecution for, and others were simply bought and paid for quack studies from rubber duck labs.

Consider seizure studies by Monsanto, they bought Searle in l985: Seizures are listed 5 times on the FDA report of 92 symptoms that range from male sexual dysfunction to death: People are having so many seizures and going blind on aspartame that the Community Nutrition Institute filed a petition to ban aspartame in l986. Again the manufacturers put in the fix to prevent it from being banned.
They were so worried someone would have a seizure they actually gave people anti-seizure medication in the Rowan study.  ‘This impeccable “study” involved one-day consumption of, believe it or not:  a single capsule of aspartame. Tantamount to smelling the bottle.  The got it peer reviewed with their power.  So when consumers complain of seizures they say "we did studies and aspartame doesn't cause seizures".  

I smoked a Lucky once and I’m fine, so nicotine doesn’t cause cancer!

They have all bases covered.  Today front groups like Calorie Control Council, with full knowledge that aspartame causes birth defects and mental retardation actually push the poison:

When 60 Minutes did a story about aspartame and brain tumors the manufactures claimed to have all these studies showing safety.  Dr. Ralph Walton who was on the show decided to research who funded the “studies”: Note that 92% of independent peer-reviewed studies show problems aspartame causes, while those funded or controlled by industry all say it’s safe. If you eliminate 6 studies the FDA, aspartame’s branch office in Washington, messed with, and one pro-aspartame sponsored summary, 100% of independent scientific peer reviewed studies show aspartame problems. 

As Dr. Bowen said: this is mass poisoning of the world.  Aspartame destroys the brain, the optic nerve, the immune system and central nervous system.  It devastates every organ of the body.  Epidemic obesity, diabetes, sexual dysfunction, retinopathy and neuropathy, optic nerve destruction, convulsions and insulin reactions, MS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, IQ depreciation and dozens of other afflictions have been inflicted upon us by this deadly neurotoxic carcinogenic “sweetener”.

According to the prestigious Ecologist, aspartame was listed with the pentagon in an inventory of prospective biochemical warfare weapons submitted to Congress.

Studies show the horrific damage done to the body.  For instance, the Trocho Study shows the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol actually embalms tissue and damages DNA.

Here are summaries of the two aspartame studies, Ramazzini, that showed aspartame to be a  multipotential carcinogen, passed down through the mother:

DR. MORANDO SOFFRITTI, lead researcher on two groundbreaking long-term aspartame studies. He was recently honored at New York’s Mt Sinai School of Medicine with the Irving J Selikoff Award For his outstanding contributions to the identification of environmental and industrial carcinogens and his promotion of independent scientific research. Reviewing his two impeccable aspartame studies. Dr. Soffritti explains:

The first ERF study (2005) was conducted on 1800 Sprague-Dawley rats (100-150/per sex/per group) In order to simulate daily human intake, aspartame was added to the standard rat diet in quantities of 5000, 2500, 100, 500, 20, 4, and 0 mg/Kg of body weight. Treatment of the animals began at 8 weeks of age and continued until spontaneous death. The results show that APM causes a statistically significant, dose-related increase of lymphomas/leukemias and malignant tumors of the renal pelvis in females and malignant tumors of peripheral nerves in males. These results demonstrate for the first time that APM is a carcinogenic agent, capable of inducing malignancies at various dose levels, including those lower than the current acceptable daily intake (ADI) for humans (50 mg/kg of body weight in the US, 40 mg/kg of body weight in the EU).

The second ERF study (2007) was conducted on 400 Sprague-Dawley rats (70-95/per sex/per group). In order to simulate daily human intake, aspartame was added to the standard rat diet in quantities of 100, 20, and 0 mg/Kg of body weight. Treatment of the animals began on the 12th day of fetal life until natural death. The results of the second study show an increased incidence of lymphomas/leukemias in female rats with respect to the first study. Moreover, the study shows that when lifespan exposure to APM begins during fetal life, the age at which lymphomas/leukemias develop in females is anticipated. For the first time, a statistically significant increase in mammary cancers in females was also observed in the second study. The results of this transplacental carcinogenicity bioassay not only confirm, but also reinforce the first experimental demonstration of APMs multipotential carcinogenicity.

Another study by Dr. Morando Soffritti, Ramazzini Institute, showed aspartame causes liver and lung cancer.

In 2002 I petitioned the FDA to ban aspartame.  The FDA had 180 days to answer it.  They refuse, obviously because I'm using their own words, and they don't know how to get around the fact that everything is a matter of record.   If it wasn't so criminal one would have to laugh at their propaganda - the idea that someone might even consider believing them.  For instance, they will tell you there is just a small amount of methanol, and there is more in oranges.  What they don't say is that in oranges that it is accompanied by ethanol, which is the classic antidote for methanol toxicity and takes it out of your body safely.  Here is a peer reviewed journal article about it. Methanol also binds to pectin.  In aspartame there is no ethanol.  Here is their basic propaganda answered with references:

There are efforts now in states and countries to rid the planet of aspartame.  It is genetically engineered.  The manufacturers are get people in high places addicted.  When I testified to the Senate in New Mexico, half the senators were sipping Diet Coke.  Presidents Clinton and Bush were addicted.  Methanol is classified as a narcotic and it causes chronic methanol poisoning. This affects the dopamine system of the brain producing addiction.

I've lectured in other countries and I can tell you people are sick and dying the world over on this poison. It would be great to see it banned from California.  First of all its illegally on the market because it violates the Delaney Amendment.  Here are comments from an FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, to Congress on 8/1/85:

Dr. Gross testified that at least one of Searle's studies "has established beyond ANY REASONABLE DOUBT that aspartame is capable of inducing brain tumors in experimental animals and that this predisposition of it is of extremely high significance. ... In view of these indications that the cancer causing potential of aspartame is a matter that had been established WAY BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT, one can ask: What is the reason for the apparent refusal by the FDA to invoke for this food additive the so-called Delaney Amendment to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act?"

The Delaney Amendment makes it illegal to allow any residues of cancer causing chemicals in foods. In his concluding testimony Gross asked, "Given the cancer causing potential of aspartame how would the FDA justify its position that it views a certain amount of aspartame as constituting an allowable daily intake or 'safe' level of it? Is that position in effect not equivalent to setting a 'tolerance' for this food additive and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA itself elects to violate the law, who is left to protect the health of the public?" Congressional Record SID835:131 (August 1, l985)

Here is my letter to the Assembly Committee on Health which exposes the fact that it's adulterated: The adulteration  means it violates interstate commerce laws.

Consumer power is winning the war against this toxin. Holland Sweetener, the largest European aspartame producer closed in 2006. Another European maker also quit. In Japan Tosh stopped making it as well.  Merisant, in the USA went bankrupt for $230,000,000 in January, 2009.  47 members of Parliament signed for a ban in the UK.  There is continuing effort to get banned in the Philippines.  Romania banned it in the early 90's because it’s carcinogenic. And now the European Food Safety Authority is doing a review.  

Today no drug is safe if the consumer is using aspartame because of the interaction due to damage to the mitochondria.  It's used in hospitals because of the dietitians making patients even sicker.

The Nutratanic hit the iceberg and Coke & Pepsi are in the lifeboats with new sweeteners in the works. Japan’s Ajinomoto and the USA NutraSweet Co are still slapping around in the frigid waters of consumer condemnation.

If I can provide further data I’ll gladly do so. There is no way to show safety on aspartame with honest, unbiased studies.  Eliminate industry studies to defend its product and you'll see how deadly is this toxin.  Dr. Bill Deagle said its more deadly than depleted uranium because its ubiquitous in our food.

Hi, I am an American living in the UK. We moved here in 2011 (from Sedona, Arizona) and have 3 children ages 10, 5 & 4 who are enrolled in the British public school system. I was quite horrified to find the rampant use of aspartame in drinks targeted and served to children. I requested, in writing to the schools, that my children NOT be served any items with aspartame during special events etc. My request was met by the school phoning me to ask if I had my children officially tested for allergies to aspartame, as, if they were not allowed to have the same drinks as other children during special events they would probably feel left out. I have since personally purchased the squashes that do not have aspartame for the special events, so my children can have what the other children have and not feel left out. At home they drink water. At any rate, I was wondering if you are still actively pursing UK awareness of aspartame and if you have anything I can pass on to the school to help create an aspartame free zone. I am the secretary of the PTA at the school and have requested the PTA to only consider purchasing aspartame free squashes but have been only met with ridicule. Please help!!!!

Written testimonies of restored health from Lyme disease

#1. Hi there,
I've been a long time tick host, lived in Germany and last Switzerland, travelled a lot through some European countries and caught most of the local ticks, as I had been straying around in the forests a lot. So no doubt that I must have been pretty loaded with all kinds of parasites. It took many years though to get a diagnosis, so starting from the first erythema migraines, I never have gotten any treatment whatsoever. Somehow I was able to ignore the symptoms by keeping myself active and by a few attempts to shape my immune system (for example with the famous kombucha tea).

However, I got caught in a series of heavy symptoms in the past few years that not only kept me from doing my job, finally I got the worst brain fog that I could ever imagine (and I never have been of the depressed, pessimistic type). I was functioning no more, collapsed a few times and scared my dearest human beings around me. They all said my personality was flaky. Hospitals didn't find anything in my blood, except for a slight hint (when I begged them for a Lyme check), but not enough to get a proper treatment. Generally over all these years, I kept hearing: Well, you're ok, you're fit, what do you want from us? Maybe consider seeing a shrink...

So, before terminating myself because I couldn't take it any longer, I tried various forms of Sodium Chlorite solutions. I had read about MMS, but finally, I was advised by a special therapist, before I took the stuff.
So I began with the advised minimum dose of five drops...and BANG...I was heavily sick for one day. By now, after a 30 day test phase, I could say that the reaction was a heavy Herxheimer reaction to the toxin load and my wrecked constitution. So I could literally keep no food in myself, it splashed out regularly through all possible paths (pardon my descriptive language, my excuse is to not be a native speaker :-)

While being seriously ill, I got aware of another reaction that I had noted earlier: It's a stinging, short pain that can occur anywhere in the body, and which goes away within a few seconds, then comes back for a few times. The Chlorine Dioxide obviously had triggered something in my head, and since then, it has done it a few times again, but with decreasing intensity.

After the last few times calling ralph by the white phone on that day, I slept a lot. Next day, the brain fog was gone, but my stomach and intestines felt wrecked. So I drank a lot of tea (which I kept inside, this time) and tried to detox myself with a few nutrition additives.

The day after, the brain fog was still gone. How could that be? I was even fit enough to make a walk. Before that, my knees didn't have any power whatsoever. Somehow, that bit of toxic gas inside my veins must have destroyed a lot of unhealthy stuff that made me sick.

So, since then I am on my little MMS protocol, tried it in various ways (activated, non- activated) while monitoring my pH urine level, to see how I was doing with the acids. I have done a lot of research about the pros and cons, honestly I must say it appears to me as one of the least intrusive (let aside the heavy Herxheimer reactions) and best controllable antibiotics so far.

However, I would not advise anyone to use MMS with a very wrecked immune system and without a therapist-advised strategy on how to get rid of all the toxic waste after the MMS reaction.

After all, I now have my lab diagnosis after more than 10 years of uncertainty, and the funny thing is: I don't care anymore. Needless to say that the doctors didn't know what MMS was. Their decision is still not made yet, but the chance is little, that I'll take their antibiotics advice, once they finally found their conclusion. My hope currently is, that MMS can get rid of the remaining garbage as well. Even if it doesn't, it got me out of the worst.

#2. I was bit by a deer tick over a year ago and everything I took to help cure my Lyme disease did not work.

I stumbled on a MMS thread on the internet and read all the comments and even the scary stuff the FDA published on MMS. I felt like I was at death’s door and in constant pain so I said---why not try this stuff----well I’m glad I did!!!

I started taking MMS in July 2012 - It has helped me. It’s only been one month but it is starting to work and many of my symptoms are starting to go away. I still get sleepy and have a little bit of joint pain but on a scale of 1 to 10 = the joint pain is now a 3 when it was a 10 without MMS. I am going to continue taking MMS for as long as it takes to completely rid my body of this Lyme.

I had the diarrhea at first when starting the MMS but it went away soon and now I am taking 12 drops in the morning and 12 drops before bedtime. The MMS makes me sleepy sometimes when I drink it in the morning but that is the only side effect I’ve been having.

I will update my information in the future and report my progress so others can read about the good news.

#3. I was bitten by a Horse fly age 9 years old. No one knew anything about Lyme back then. I was left untested for any spirochete infection. But the infection slowly began to affect my body and my brain from then on, still no one put two and two together. When I was 22 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I have subsequently discovered that M.S is connected to Lyme disease in fact M.S is a spirochete infection not just an autoimmune disease.? As Dr. Lyda Mattman says "Multiple sclerosis should be renamed Multiple Spirochetes".  That is enough for me to know I was infected by the Horse fly.

M.S is chronic untreated Lyme according to many doctors out there.

I have been taking MMS for 15 months and wow! I am almost rid of the Lyme disease and co-infections. I say almost because these infections can go dormant for 10, 20, even 50 years if you do not kill it all in the body system.

I am physically stronger, no need for walking aids anymore, my cognitive thinking is now second to none, I have no brain fog, my eyesight is above 20/20 vision, my coordination is brilliant, I can now hold a conversation.  I do not have splayed feet anymore (something I have had since the bite age 9) My I.Q has improved by 60% (Lyme and co-infections affect the I.Q.).

I am basically a normal healthy human all thanks to MMS and you Jim.

I have been spared a life of ever increasing disability and pain.

My children have congenital Lyme and co-infections and they too have been taking MMS for 15 months (their own choice as they are Gilleck competent)

They are fabulously well and also have cleared their bodies of Lyme and co-infections again. They will carry on taking MMS for a while longer as I said because these infections can lie dormant for a long time and we all want to be sure it is gone for good!

Both have been eye tested and their vision is above 20/20 their eyesight has improved greatly.

My eldest who was a snuffly baby (connected to a spirochete infection) no longer has sinus problems, the eyes are no longer affected (used to have constant eye irritation also connected to a Lyme, co-infection)

Our hair, nails, teeth are brilliant and fabulous with an infection all of these are affected.

We were on a limited time with my children it would only have been a couple of more years (by the time they reached age 18) that they too would of been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease or become disabled, MMS has saved their lives too!

All of this because of a bite from a horse fly which are carriers of Lyme and other co-infections.

If anyone is concerned about long term use of MMS, well if I had of taken antibiotics I would have to take those for up to 10 years causing damage and costing £800 per person per month. Chemists discover secret to dark chocolate's health benefits

For years, chocolate lovers have remained blissfully unaware of the precise reason bittersweet dark chocolate seems to improve cardiovascular health. At least until, now that is.

On Tuesday, researchers at meeting of the American Chemical Society in Dallas said they had solved the confection conundrum: Specific chocolate-loving microbes in the gut convert an otherwise indigestible portion of the candy into anti-inflammatory compounds, they said.

Using a series of modified test tubes to simulate humans' gurgling guts, researchers exposed several forms of cocoa powder to digestive juices and enzymes, and then to bacteria found in samples of human feces.

What they found was that after cocoa was "digested," long molecules called polyphenolic polymers remained within the gastrointestinal, or GI, tract.

The molecules are too large to cross the walls of the gut and be used as nutrients, according to researcher John Finley, a professor of food science and biochemistry at Louisiana State University.

"They do nothing for us except travel down the GI tract after we consume them," Finley said.

That is until they encounter some of the many microbes that inhabit the human colon, particularly Bifidobacterium and lactic acid bacteria, researchers said.

"These little guys say, 'Hey -- there's something in there that I can use,' and they start to break it down," Finley said.

The smaller molecules that result from this fermentation can travel through the gut wall and be used by the body, researchers said.

"These materials are anti-inflammatory and they serve to prevent or delay the onset of some forms of cardiovascular disease that are associated with inflammation," Finley said.

A number of short-term studies conducted in recent years have suggested that dark chocolate can cause blood vessels to dilate, and thus lower blood pressure, although this is not the case with white chocolate and milk chocolate.

It has been unclear exactly why this happens, but researchers had focused on the effects of anti-oxidant flavanols, such as catechin and epicatechin.

Finley said these were among the compounds that were poorly digested, yet acted upon by gut microbes. The other substance that was fermented was dietary fiber, which makes up about 30 percent of cocoa powder.

He said that the amount of cocoa powder that appeared to produce beneficial effects was about two tablespoons a day.

One of the issues involving dark chocolate, Finley said, was the amount of sugar and fat that chocolate candy contained. He said you could avoid those substances by putting cocoa powder on oatmeal, as he does.

He said it was possible that the beneficial compounds contained within cocoa powder might one day be processed into pill form, and noted that Mars Inc., the maker of M&M candy, was partially funding research into that possibility.

Finely said he wasn't very excited by this prospect.

"I would rather eat a big old chocolate cookie or a cup of cocoa than . . . take a pill," he said.

Why 80 Percent of People Worldwide Will Soon Stop Eating Wheat … or Die

The future of wheat is certain, and it's toxic. There are as many health risks associated with the consumption of wheat as there are nutritional benefits claimed by the wheat industry. Why is there such a strong emphasis on the development of wheat products all over the world when there are so many adverse and crippling effects such as neurological impairment, dementia, heart disease, cataracts, diabetes, arthritis and visceral fat accumulation, not to mention the full range of intolerances and bloating now experienced by millions of people?

Approximately 700 million tons of wheat are now cultivated worldwide making it the second most-produced grain after maize. It is grown on more land area than any other commercial crop and is considered a staple food for humans.

At some point in our history, this ancient grain was nutritious in some respects, however modern wheat really isn't wheat at all. Once agribusiness took over to develop a higher-yielding crop, wheat became hybridized to such an extent that it has been completely transformed from it's prehistorical genetic configuration. All nutrient content of modern wheat depreciated more than 30% in its natural unrefined state compared to its ancestral genetic line. The balance and ratio that mother nature created for wheat was also modified and human digestion and physiology could simply could not adapt quick enough to the changes.

The Nutritional Value of Wheat is Practically Non-Existent In Its Current Form

So-called health experts in nutrition who continue to promote the health benefits of wheat are extremely uninformed about the nature of modern wheat and its evolution from growth to consumption. It is shocking how many professionals in public health still recommend wheat products without an assessment of their individual requirements, especially considering the amount of evidence regarding its lack of nutrition and health risks for proportionally large segments of the population.

The majority of wheat is processed into 60% extraction, bleached white flour. 60% extraction-the standard for most wheat products means that 40% of the original wheat grain is removed. So not only do we have an unhealthier, modified, and hybridized strain of wheat, we also remove and further degrade its nutritional value by processing it. Unfortunately, the 40% that gets removed includes the bran and the germ of the wheat grain-its most nutrient-rich parts. In the process of making 60% extraction flour, over half of the vitamin B1, B2, B3, E, folic acid, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron, and fiber are lost. Any processed foods with wheat are akin to poison for the body since they cause more health risks than benefits. The body does not recognize processed wheat as food. Nutrient absorption from processed wheat products is thus consequential with almost no nutritional value.

Some experts claim if you select 100% whole wheat products, the bran and the germ of the wheat will remain in your meals, and the health benefits will be impressive. This is again a falsity promoted by the wheat industry since even 100% whole wheat products are based on modern wheat strains created by irradiation of wheat seeds and embryos with chemicals, gamma rays, and high-dose X-rays to induce mutations. Whether you consume 10% or 100% of wheat is irrelevant since you're still consuming a health damaging grain that will not benefit, advance or even maintain your health in any way.

Dr. Marcia Alvarez who specializes in nutritional programs for obese patients says that when it comes to nutrition, wheat may be considered as an evil grain. "Modern wheat grains could certainly be considered as the root of all evil in the world of nutrition since they cause so many documented health problems across so many populations in the world." Dr. Alvarez asserted that wheat is now responsible for more intolerances than almost any other food in the world. "In my practice of over two decades, we have documented that for every ten people with digestive problems, obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, arthritis and even heart disease, eight out of ten have a problem with wheat. Once we remove wheat from their diets, most of their symptoms disappear within three to six months," she added. Dr. Alvarez estimates that between the coming influx of genetically modified (GM) strains of wheat and the current tendency of wheat elimination in societies, that a trend is emerging in the next 20 years that will likely see 80% of people cease their consumption of wheat from any form.

Genetic Modification

The GM wheat currently being tested for approval for production in Canada is a new variety of hard red spring wheat which has been genetically engineered to be tolerant to glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's herbicide Roundup. Monsanto Canada Inc. requested the approval of GE wheat from Health Canada in July 2002 and for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in December 2002.

In July 2009, the most hated company in the world Monsanto, announced new research into GM wheat and industry groups kicked their promotion of GM wheat into high gear. "Widespread farmer and consumer resistance defeated GM wheat in 2004 and this global rejection remains strong, as demonstrated by today's statement," said Lucy Sharratt, Coordinator of the Canadian Biotechnology Action Network.

There are now even claims by researchers in Australia have developed a form of salt-tolerant wheat that will allow farmers to grow crops in soil with high salinity. They created the new form of wheat by crossing a modern strain with an ancient species, and the researchers believe this new super-wheat will allow farmers to grow more food crops on land previously thought to be off limits to agriculture. Critics suggest that new strains will be foreign to current ecological systems and will be unsustainable without massive chemical intervention.

Industry claims that the introduction of GM wheat will lead to a reduction in herbicide use, a claim that has been made prior to the introduction of other herbicide tolerant (HT) crops such as Roundup Ready (RR) soybeans, canola and corn. These claims have been contradicted by US government statistics that show that GM HT crops such as RR crops use more pesticides than conventional crops. These state GM crops can receive as much as 30 percent more herbicide than non-GM crops. Not only do GM crops use more pesticides but they also force the farmer to purchase one single brand of herbicide, in this case Monsanto brand Roundup.

If introduced, GE wheat will enter farmers' rotations along with the already HT canola and soybeans. This compounds the issue of superweeds as each crop sown would be HT, so any seed that fell from the crop before harvest would pose a threat of becoming an uncontrollable weed, or contained by using increasingly toxic herbicides. How can we believe that pesticide use will decrease with GE wheat?

These developments are also taking place in the United States which is the third largest wheat producer in the world. Fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and growth regulators are all becoming more chemically potent and their frequency of application continues to increase every 5 years. American scientists are currently developing GM strains of wheat conferring resistance to fungal diseases. Wheat is becoming such a transmutated grain, that it someday may not even be called wheat.

Health Effects

A powerful little chemical in wheat known as 'wheat germ agglutinin' (WGA) which is largely responsible for many of wheat's pervasive, and difficult to diagnose, ill effects. Researchers are now discovering that WGA in modern wheat is very different from ancient strains. Not only does WGA throw a monkey wrench into our assumptions about the primary causes of wheat intolerance, but due to the fact that WGA is found in highest concentrations in "whole wheat," including its supposedly superior sprouted form, it also pulls the rug out from under one of the health food industry's favorite poster children.

Each grain of wheat contains about one microgram of Wheat Germ Agglutinin (WGA). Even in small quantities, WGA can have profoundly adverse effects. It may be pro-inflammatory, immunotoxic, cardiotoxic … and neurotoxic.

Below the radar of conventional serological testing for antibodies against the various gluten proteins and genetic testing for disease susceptibility, the WGA "lectin problem" remains almost entirely obscured. Lectins, though found in all grains, seeds, legumes, dairy and our beloved nightshades: the tomato and potato, are rarely discussed in connection with health or illness, even when their presence in our diet may greatly reduce both the quality and length of our lives. Yet health experts dismiss the links between disease and wheat despite all the evidence.

Aspartame Being Re-Branded as AminoSweet: The Next Chapter in Aspartame’s Dangerous History

Aspartame’s presence in the world’s food supply has been the subject of great protest and controversy since the mid-1980′s when then CEO if Searle, Donald Rumsfeld, pushed for it’s approval to be sold on the market. As you may or may not remember, Mr. Rumsfeld went on to become George W. Bush’s Secretary of Defense. But aside from Aspartame’s availability on the market proving, once again, the ease in which someone could take advantage of the Crony-Capitalist door that links Government and corporations, Aspartame has been consistently proven to harm whoever, or whatever, consumes it.

Aspartame is an artificial, non-saccharide sweetener used as a sugar substitute in many foods and beverages. In the European Union, it is codified as E951, and is most popularly sold under the NutraSweet and Equal brand names.

The possible association between specific artificial sweeteners and cancer?

Studies in laboratory rats during the early 1970s linked saccharin with the development of bladder cancer. For this reason, Congress mandated that further studies of saccharin be performed and required that all food containing saccharin bear the following warning label: “Use of this product may be hazardous to your health. This product contains saccharin, which has been determined to cause cancer in laboratory animals.”

The FDA’s own toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told Congress that without a shadow of a doubt, aspartame can cause brain tumors and brain cancer and that it violated the Delaney Amendment, which forbids putting anything in food that is known to cause cancer.

According to the top doctors and researchers on this issue, aspartame causes headache, memory loss, seizures, vision loss, coma and cancer. It worsens or mimics the symptoms of such diseases and conditions as fibromyalgia, MS, lupus, ADD, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue and depression.

“In 2005, the European Ramazzini Foundation published new findings of a long-term feeding study on aspartame conducted in rats. Scientists from ERF concluded from their study that aspartame causes cancer and the current uses and consumption of the sweetener should be re-evaluated.” (Read More Here) And what do you know? The EFSA and the FDA both found that the ERF’s conclusion was not supported by the data they collected, and that there was no need to “further review earlier scientific opinion on the safety of aspartame or to revise the Acceptable Daily Intake.”

Sleep apnoea may affect one in four adults. If left untreated, it can play a role in causing heart attack, brain fog, hypertension, chronic fatigue, pain syndromes, stroke and cancer. It may be the result of underlying problems including hiatal hernia and chemical or EMF sensitivity.

Disordered breathing, including the temporary cessation of breathing, during sleep or attempted sleep is called sleep apnoea (or apnea). We will see that as many as one out of four adults may have this usually undiagnosed but life-threatening condition. The seriousness of untreated sleep apnoea is indicated by its linkage to accidents, hypertension and heart disease, and in 2012 it was even linked to increased likelihood of cancer. It is also a probable causative factor in the pandemic of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia and myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). Thus, many people who seek out alternative practitioners may have sleep apnoea. It's not likely to be corrected by supplements. I have found it to be linked to other problems I have written about in NEXUS—including the hiatal hernia/vagus nerve imbalance syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) and electromagnetic field sensitivity (EMFS). This article explains the different types of sleep apnoea, how they are tested for, and mainstream and holistic types of treatment for it.

The Nature, Causes, Prevalence and Dangers of Sleep Apnoea

Possible symptoms of sleep apnoea include trouble going to or staying asleep, or being tired and unrefreshed upon awakening. Being tired or sleepy during the day—including having full-blown narcolepsy—snoring, and waking up gasping are other possible symptoms. It is a mistake to think that sleep apnoea only affects the elderly or middle aged or the obese.

There are two main types of sleep apnoea: obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) and central sleep apnoea (CSA). A third type is their combination, called mixed sleep apnoea (MSD). Obstructive sleep apnoea refers to the closing off of part of the airways in the throat. Snoring is usually heard in sufferers of OSA. Snoring does not always occur, but a close-by snorer can have a decibel level exceeding that of a jet flying 100 feet overhead. The snorer will almost never be able to hear his/her own snoring, but the partner sure can! Many a marriage may have been prevented or terminated due to the decibel levels emitted by the snoring sleep apnoea sufferer and the partner's own ensuing inability to sleep. So, saving a marriage can be another reason to be tested and treated.

Central sleep apnoea refers to the brain not sufficiently innervating the muscles of respiration, which include the diaphragm and the abdominal and rib muscles. CSA may be caused by cardiac conditions, including the usually hidden PFO—the patent foramen ovale or hole in the heart that I have written about in NEXUS [see 18/03]. The PFO or other cardiovascular problem can lead to hypoperfusion of the brain. It is thought that many people with just OSA eventually also develop the central form.

Obstructive sleep apnoea can be treated with devices (CPAP or BiPAP) which breathe into sufferers, and with surgery, dental appliances and other methods. These other methods can include tongue muscle exercises and advanced energy balancing. Central sleep apnoea is treated via the breathing devices, especially BiPAP. Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) may be a manifestation of sleep apnoea—perhaps, more likely, CSA.

Sleep apnoea—by virtue of the low oxygen states induced by obstructive or central sleep apnoea—stresses the heart, raises the blood pressure, ages the heart more rapidly and can cause a heart attack at any time if the apnoeic event lasts long enough. Diminished sleep, especially the rapid eye movement (REM) fraction, leads to a suboptimally functioning brain, which can cause narcolepsy, fatigue, accidents, "mental illness" and other problems.

A 2002 study reported: "On the basis of the average of prevalence estimates from these studies of predominantly white men and women with mean BMI [body mass index] of 25 to 28, we estimate that roughly 1 of every 5 adults has at least mild OSA and 1 of every 15 has at least moderate OSA."1 This presumably refers to people in the USA.

A poll taken in the USA in 2005 by David M. Hiestand, MD, PhD, et al. led to the following results:
"Of the 1,506 respondents, 26% (31% of men and 21% of women) met the Berlin questionnaire
criteria indicating a high risk of OSA. The risk of OSA increased up to age 65 years. A significant
number of obese individuals (57%) were at high risk for OSA. Those whose Berlin questionnaire scores indicated a high risk for OSA were more likely to report subjective sleep problems, a negative impact of sleep on quality of life, and a chronic medical condition than those who were at lower risk. Conclusions: As many as one in four American adults could benefit from evaluation for OSA. Considering the serious adverse health and quality-of-life consequences of OSA, efforts to expedite diagnosis and treatment are indicated."

In 2012, a groundbreaking article noted that hypoxia (an inadequate supply of oxygen), which occurs in sleep apnoea, promotes angiogenesis. This is an increase in the vascularity that is associated with tumour growth. The article stated that a 4.8 times higher incidence of cancer mortality may thus be associated with sleep apnoea.3 Sleep apnoea also entails increased risk for stroke and diabetes.

Note that it appears that most studies or polls only looked for obstructive sleep apnoea and not central sleep apnoea. So the percentage, at least in the USA, may be even higher, and the physician-authors are probably being conservative as well. Thus the prevalence of all forms of sleep apnoea may be 25 per cent or more of adults in some countries.

So, sleep apnoea is pandemic in western society. It is a leading cause of fatigue, brain fatigue and rapid ageing. Predisposing factors for sleep apnoea include sinus disease, tonsillectomy, obesity, smoking, alcohol consumption and, as noted and in my opinion, the hiatal hernia syndrome and also MCS and EMFS. It is important to note that many quite thin people also can have sleep apnoea. I believe that additional factors can be causative as well, and they include hypothyroidism and infection with micro-organisms—such as the very small spirochetes that cause Lyme disease and other diseases. These may get into the brain or otherwise play a role here. A tendency towards having trigger points can play a role here as well. Sleeping on a memory foam mattress or overlay may help (after it has outgassed, for those with MCS). Of course, this works both ways. Sleep apnoea contributes to causing fibromyalgia and other pain syndromes.
The more problematic central sleep apnoea usually does not entail snoring. CSA may be more problematic because there may be less likelihood of the person's waking up during an apnoeic event, as the brain's signals are diminished with CSA—as opposed to OSA where a throat blockage occurs and the person usually awakens, sometimes gasping.
It sounds innocuous to say "she died peacefully in her sleep". But what if "she" had undiagnosed sleep apnoea and could have lived several more years? So if the testing or treatment seems problematic, or if you just don't envision this as a serious problem, imagine this. Someone is coming into your room up to 100 times an hour, and he goes towards you and places his hands on your throat and chokes you for 30 seconds or longer. Many people who undergo the sleep test are shocked to find that they have had serious apnoeic events up to 100 times an hour. What you feel as an inability to go to sleep is revealed during the test as numerous apnoeic events. So, envision ridding yourself of someone choking you many times each night.

What took place some eight years ago with a client can be instructive. The person had MCS and EMFS. She also reported strange feelings and difficulty during the night, awakening with great distress. I told her that this could well be sleep apnoea and that she should immediately schedule a test and get treatment if she had sleep apnoea. Her husband replied that she did not snore. To this, I replied that this could mean that she had the even more problematic central sleep apnoea, and again I implored her to get tested as soon as possible. She replied that she had MCS and EMFS, and it was too difficult. I nonetheless implored her again. She did not schedule any type of testing, and she died in her sleep just a few weeks later. She was in her forties.
Yes, both the testing and treatment can be difficult for someone with MCS and/or EMFS. Indeed, sensitivity to chemicals or EMF can be part of the cause of sleep apnoea. As far as chemicals are concerned, you may be reacting to fragrance, formaldehyde, mould or other things in the room or bed—both at home or at the sleep centre. Regarding EMF, you may be reacting to the AC current in the room or from nearby towers, Wi-Fi or even the coils in your mattress that can absorb and re-radiate radiowaves or microwaves.
The kindling effect may play a large role in sleep problems. Just looking at TV or computer monitor screens can lead to hyper brain states. Indeed, I have had clients report back, after I had tested them, that not only was their sleep better but their asthma or hypoglycaemia was better when they avoided TV and the Internet. Some people also have hyperacusis and must avoid sounds to feel and sleep better. Again, the PFO or other cardiovascular problem may be causing hypoperfusion in the brain. Also, allergic or porphyric reactions to foods such as wheat, sugar, caffeine or others can also cause hyper states in many people.

Testing for Sleep Apnoea

The testing of sleep apnoea is called polysomnography. The person reports to a sleep centre for 10 to 12 hours. After a briefing and orientation to the room, the subject is "wired up" with sensors.These sensors may be placed on the chest, legs (looking for restless leg syndrome), face and throat.Sensors on the head will be part of an electroencephalogram (EEG) to measure brain waves, and there will also be an electrocardiogram (ECG) run throughout the test.
Real-time monitoring and video recording also take place. Because of the cost, the distance from and the different environment of the sleep centres, various types of home testing are now available. Here, the various types of sensors and recording devices may monitor REM/deep sleep or chest or body movement. None of these devices can duplicate a full polysomnography nor include its immediate testing of the air machines and nasal or nasal/mouth cannulae, but they have home, cost, quickness and reusability advantages.

During the test, if the sleep technician sees—or the sensors indicate—significant sleep apnoea and/or concomitant medical problems, he or she may come into the room and put the subject on an air pressure machine.

When this occurs, the optimum settings for inhalation and exhalation can be gauged. Different types of nasal or nasal/mouth attachments can also be tested for efficacy. Sometimes, due to insufficient sleep during the test, a second test may be desired.

If both a sleep centre and home testing are not available to you in your region or country, the following can be used to help determine the possibility of your having sleep apnoea. Medical oxygen suppliers often can provide a recorded-pulse oximetry kit for home use. This test entails a pulse oximeter placed overnight on a fingertip and attached to a recorder. Episodes of hypoxia may be evidence of apnoeic events—especially if other heart and lung diseases have been ruled out. Pulse rate is also recorded this way. It may be a good idea for

sufferers of any chronic illness to purchase their own pulse oximeter, as these now sell for under $50—about one-tenth of what they were a dozen years ago when I first bought one for myself and my clients. The oximeter shines an LED light through the fingernail and detects the oxygen level on the haemoglobin of red blood cells. Overnight pulse oximetry, of course, cannot detect such things as insufficient REM sleep.

Air Pressure Devices

There is a very significant difference between the two types of air pressure machines available: CPAP and BiPAP.

CPAP denotes continuous positive airway pressure. CPAP devices have one continuous level, or one maximum level, of air pressure— presumably optimally determined from analysing the polysomno- graphy data. CPAP was invented in 1980 by Dr Colin Sullivan, a physician and SIDS researcher from Sydney, Australia. Prior to that, tracheotomy was actually employed for (severe) sleep apnoea.

BiPAP refers to bi-level positive airway pressure. The "bi- level" means that two different settings are used with these devices. The higher level refers to the maximum pressure that the machine can emit when it senses you are—or should be—breathing in, and the lower level is the device's maximum pressure when it senses that you are breathing out. The higher air pressure is needed to force air past blocked airways.

Some of these devices can sense if they need to emit their maximal pressures during inspiration and expiration, and they may emit a pressure less than their maxima if it is not needed at that moment.

Regarding EMF, you may be reacting to the AC current in the room or from nearby towers, Wi-Fi or even the coils in your mattress that can absorb and re-radiate radiowaves or microwaves.

Even in patients without sleep apnoea, BiPAP machines are now being used for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, asthma and heart failure.

The difference between CPAP and BiPAP devices is evident during the exhalation phase. With BiPAP, this pressure is significantly less than the pressure during inhalation, so the person does not have to breathe out against the higher pressure when it is not necessary to do so. The CPAP device has only the one level, though more recent CPAP devices may have some (sensor-controlled) variability capability. The point is that, for some or many, it can be an unnecessary struggle to breathe out against the machine. The elderly, asthmatics, the obese and people with other conditions can have great difficulty with CPAP. Indeed, it is hoped here that CPAP will eventually be eliminated and that everyone who tries these devices uses a BiPAP. It is estimated that about 50 per cent of people who try CPAP discontinue its use. Many of these people do not get other treatments and so are at great risk. Perhaps if only BiPAP were used, the 50 per cent figure would go down.

If you get a CPAP or BiPAP device, make sure it has a heated humidifier. With this, the air first passes over a container of water, which itself can be heated. This prevents dry and/or cold air from entering your lungs, which could cause problems. People with asthma or reactive airways disease (RAD) or other medical conditions will not do well with dry or cold air. Inexpensive bacterial and viral filters can also be added to the air hose line.

Dental Appliances and Surgical Options

Another possible treatment for OSA is the fitting of an oral appliance. Specially trained dentists can make a moulding and create a dental appliance that facilitates keeping the airway in the back of the throat open during sleep, thus preventing or reducing apnoeic events. However, this does not help with central sleep apnoea.

People with significant sinus disease may not be able to use CPAP or BiPAP devices.

I knew someone who had nasal surgery, and because of this, when she tried to use CPAP, the air went into her stomach, not her lungs, and she had a dental appliance fitted.

Advocates of the Buteyko system report that just taping the lips closed during sleep, to prevent low CO2 status (hypocapnia), can improve sleep.Surgery for OSD is also available,

and there are at least three variations: traditional (scalpel) surgery, radio wave surgery and laser surgery. The first is probably performed most often. The last, laser surgery, is probably the most expensive but is said to yield the best results and quickest recoveries— though insurance companies often only reimburse for the first option, and then only if the pressure devices cannot be used or tolerated. With the second and third options, radio waves and laser beams burn away some of the throat tissue.

Note that with all three types of throat surgery, some people have reported that their throat tissue grew back. I know that those who do neural therapy injections would not advise the massive creation of scar tissue, but I do know people who did well with laser surgery.

Hiatal Hernia and Hypoglycaemia Connections

There is clearly a hiatal hernia connection with sleep apnoea. I have had clients tell me that upon following my advice and elevating the top of their bed and/or sleeping on a wedge, their "insomnia" vanished or improved. Obviously, all the diet and lifestyle changes I noted in my NEXUS article would be a good idea here [see 18/04], as would doing the simple self-help corrections for the hernia, diaphragm and vagus nerve depicted in my book.5 A good time to do these corrections is before going to bed.

Now, one of the mainstays of hiatal hernia treatment is not to eat for several hours before going to sleep, but this can be problematic for those with reactive hypoglycaemia or porphyria.
