Hi Tami,
Do you think the logging industry will stop destroying
mountain caribou habitat if we simply ask nicely?
For the sake of the endangered mountain caribou, BC's
government needs to do more than just ask. Sign this
petition urging the BC government to develop a
caribou recovery plan that will properly protect
caribou from logging and habitat loss:

All of the world's mountain caribou live in the
mountains of southeast British Columbia and parts of
Washington, Idaho and Montana. They are considered one
of the most endangered mammals in North America and
their numbers are declining rapidly.
BC government's current mountain caribou recovery plan
proposes less habitat protection than the government's
mountain caribou science team believe would be
necessary to fully recover the herds.
Canadian pressure is critical for the recovery of this
endangered species. Please tell the BC government that
habitat protection is the cornerstone of an effective
mountain caribou recovery plan. The comment period
ends February 28, 2007. Send your comment TODAY

Thanks for helping today,
