Your social connections will keep especially lively as Mars tours Aquarius to April 7. Following April 12, Venus in Gemini will keep you on the go. The sun beautifully aligned with Jupiter and Saturn April 6 – 10 makes for an opportune cycle when everything seems to fall into place way just peachy. A getaway weekend or new place to be can be wonderfully revitalizing. The go-for-it new moon April 17 can launch a glorious fresh start, one that holds a promising future and prompts you to think bigger in the here and now. You’ll feel an abundance of inspiration and encouragement to keep you going strong.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The full moon April 2 could hit you with an unforeseen bump in the road. Whatever impasse may arise is sure to be temporary. A creative solution can be found; in fact, you can afford to hold steady through the confusion or uncertainty until an obvious direction or answer unfolds on its own. Uncertainty can center on your work or work environment; whether it’s out in the open or a feeling in the atmosphere, conditions can be strained. The full moon could also ignite health or transportation issues – don’t ignore hints or signals. Clean up your resume and print extra copies. Mars touring the sign of Pisces can loosen things up; Venus in Gemini can open up your financial prospects and/or draw attention to more than one priority or interest. GEMINI (MAY 21 ~ JUN 20)
Your next steps could be contingent on others; it can be wise to wait to see how things play-out before you decide on a course of action. The social full moon April 2 could introduce you to new considerations and goals, or it could take a relationship to a new level. Watch for things to fall into place – there is no need to force what isn’t coming naturally. No matter what your aim, it’s a smooth sail April 6 – 9. Mars in Pisces (April 7 – May 15) can open things up, which can be a plus if career or educational options have recently seemed limited, or when your personal life feels less restrictive. Relinquish control on your tight rein, and trust others to pull their own weight. If you lose interest, ambition, or momentum, perhaps it’s because your aim should be headed in another direction. On the other hand, if you have a goal in mind (even if it’s a vague or uncertain one), don’t let it slide, put concentrated attention on it instead. When you attune to the universal forces/naturally building trends, magic can happen. Venus in Gemini (April 12 to May 7) will act like an attraction magnet – added attention and advantage is sure to come your way. (Go ahead, write a new wish list!) CANCER (June 22 - July 22)

April 9 can bring answers, news or results that may be instrumental in steering you future. April 21 is a “do it/find it/settle it” day; this can be the right time to firm up decisions, sign contracts or to pitch an idea. Positive initiative can pay off beautifully April 26 – 29.
LEO (July 23 - Aug. 22)
Plan a getaway or enjoy something social and harness the lively energy of the full moon weekend to your maximum benefit. Conversations can trigger plenty, you’ll come away with much more than you started with. A weekend workshop can provide great entertainment too. Synchronicity can work like a charm, whether it’s your mind or your heart that feels that exciting jolt. A friend or acquaintance could make an important connection for you. Don’t hesitate to mix business and pleasure, and/or to let someone know you are available. A new love interest can capture your attention, although with Saturn, Jupiter and the Sun in a fire trine (April 6 – 10) you may prefer to take this time to enjoy your freedom. Jupiter and Saturn put you at great advantage this month and next. You’ll find a wellspring of energy and creativity to keep you going strong (you certainly aren’t a needy one!) Whatever path you choose, satisfaction appears to be easy to come by. Jupiter in Sagittarius can increase your travel and entertainment expenses (it’s an overall cost of living reality too), while Mars in Pisces (April 7 to May 15) can signal a money drain/outgoing cycle. The sun’s entrance into Taurus can be somewhat helpful re budget maintenance; still, Venus in Gemini can always find another reason to spend on a good time! VIRGO (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
The full moon can be demanding/require the max from you, especially if you work with the public and/or are in an essential services industry. You could spend more too, but there’s probably great justification for it. Play it smart with your money, but don’t forget it’s meant to give you pleasure too! Be careful around mediations, fumes, and toxic substances and don’t take things for granted. The full moon’s influence can compromise your immune system and lower your tolerance levels too, so pump up on vitamins and watch your alcohol consumption. Choices can seem quite straight forward April 6 – 9. In fact, you may not have to make any; circumstance could make them for you. Your intuition serves you well while Jupiter, Saturn and the sun align (by fire trine.) You should find you can accomplish most of what you set out to do with relative ease. Once Venus moves into Gemini, you may wish you could be two people or occupy two places at once. You can expect to be dealing with more than the usual paper or people volume. SCORPIO (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)
Professional activities can hum right along, thanks to a planetary fire grand trine to keep the divine order in a vibrant flow. Still, you may have some extra legwork to do behind the scenes in order to keep things running smoothly as the month starts. The full moon can bring added expense or reveal areas that need further strengthening, but once handled, all will move along rather quickly and you won’t have to keep baby-sitting. The full moon could also tax your health, so make sure that you keep your body well fuelled too. The progress of Mars into Pisces, April 7 – May 15, can ignite a wonderful creative and social spurt. This is also an advantaged stellar placement for entrepreneurial activities and affairs of the heart. A new job, project, personal goal or health issue/kick is likely to occupy your full attention as the Aries new moon fires up, April 17. The new moon launches a productive (and rapid go ‘round) cycle to tackle fixer-up projects or anything you have previously put on the backburner (includes creative or romantic pursuits). SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22 - Dec. 21)
An eventful full moon ignites the start of what is sure to be a dynamic month ahead. There may be something special to attend or someone special to meet with. April 6 – 10, the stars set it up just right; you’ll find easy access to just about anything or anyone, so use the stars to stake your claims and to get yourself ahead. (Promote, perform, teach, travel, create, play, wheel & deal). Mars in Pisces can turn your primary attention to family or personal issues. You could find yourself in transition (or at least considering the range of options) re places to live. While you may want to slip out of view while you attend to private matters, Venus in Gemini will keep you socially well engaged - and busied with moneymaking ventures too. The vibrant new moon April 17 can be set life and/or love on fire. With Pluto in Sagittarius to add extra fuel to this new moon cycle, it appears you are primed to take a major step forward (along with a major leap of faith). Your future could make an appearance! Whether you planned to pack boxes or suddenly find yourself on the up and go, action (and reactionary) planets Mars and Uranus will put you on a faster track, April 26 – 29. Be careful at home, (around appliances, sharp tools or edges), with medications, and stay clear of angry or aggressive people too. Whether you choose to take it on or whether you have to, with so much coming at the same time, you are sure to feel over-extended. Not to worry though, as the week moves forward, you’ll steer your way clear/find a way to manage it all. In fact, things are likely to fall into place quite beautifully. With the sun in Aries so well situated, you are likely to find a vibrant inner reservoir of energy, confidence and creativity to carry you the distance (especially April 6 – 9). Positive initiative is in ample supply as Mars enters Pisces April 7, to start you on a new two-year cycle. Yes, the month will simply fly by! Search around, new income sources can be readily found. The new moon April 17 can bring professional recognition, or perhaps a new position. It’s a good time to ask for a raise or increase your prices. It’s also a good time to seek new bank funding or to lock in a contract or borrowing term. Spontaneity rules, April 26 – 29, you can’t hold back, nor will you want to. In this confidence-building workshop, Rose will offer a foundation for the exploration and honing of one’s intuitive faculty by introducing the Major Arcana, the first twenty-two cards of the Tarot deck. This portion of the deck can be read independently from the remaining four suits. Through encouraging class participation and discussion, Rose’s method of teaching aims to help the student to gain greater trust in their intuitive impressions. At the end of the day, students will be able to put what they have learned into immediate practice.
Participants are expected to have their own Ryder Waite deck (available in most bookstores and metaphysical shops). Additionally, students are encouraged to bring their other decks to class, the comparisons provide a wonderful tool for learning.
This One Day workshop is the pre-requisite to the 5 week evening Tarot course, starting Thurs. April 5 (see next.)

This 5 week course continues to build on the instruction provided by the One Day Workshop (see above). BEGINNER ASTROLOGY

The astrological chart mirrors the natural cycles of life. Rose uses a building block format to teach the basics of planets, signs, and houses. Rose’s method of teaching will encourage the student to rely on their deductive reasoning and intuition, rather than memorization to grasp the fuller meanings behind the astrological archetypes. This beginner course provides a good introduction for those who are simply curious, or for those who are interested in deeper study. Rose teaches from the Evolutionary Astrology perspective, a methodology that concentrates on exploring soul purpose and soul development. (No class will be held on May 13, Mother’s Day, or May 20, Victoria Day weekend.)
